Landing with a national visa feels like the finish line until the local residence process begins. Employment consultations in Germany often spend as much time on this handoff as on the embassy appointment that came before.
Carry the story in the cabin
Clients regularly check bags containing recognition decisions, original degree certificates, or employer letters. We recommend a cabin folder with the visa decision basis, contract, health insurance evidence, and any recognition paperwork — even if digital copies exist. Offices still ask to see originals more often than travel blogs admit.
Registration timing
